​Best film of the first National prize of films of the Ministry of Culture of Colombia, 2001. Special Mention of the Jury to the screenplay of the XVIII Festival of the New Latin-American films of la Habana, 1996.  Prize of the Ministry of Culture of Colombia in the category of "OPERA MEDIA" for feature films in 1998.  Two Special Prizes of the Jury in the International film Festival of Cartagena, 2000.  Prize to the best film “Opera PrimaSan Juan Cinema fest, 2000.  Prize of The Americas as Best film, Film Festival of Spain and the Americas, Brussels, Belgium-2001 Best film of the Latin-American film Festival of Toronto, Canada-2001.
